Located in the state of Maharashtra, Jalgaon is an important trading and distribution centre for tea, gold, pulses and agricultural produce in North Maharashtra

  Work participation ratio of 30 % (ratio of working to non working population) compares well with other cities like Pune (34 %) and is an indication of greater disposable incomes
